Scott Parrotta, DO

Scott Parrotta, DO, is a family medicine specialist at Wynantskill Family Medicine in Wynantskill, New York. 

 Dr. Parrotta brings a unique background to the practice, particularly focusing on family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. His extensive training allows him to help patients easily understand their conditions and create a multifaceted treatment plan for them to get back to doing the things they love.

Dr. Parrotta is known by his patients to be caring, professional, and insightful. He routinely puts patients at ease, even those with the most complex conditions. A graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York, Dr. Parrotta studied biology for his undergraduate degree. Afterward, he attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Parrotta worked as Chief Resident during his residency in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau, in Oceanside, New York. Most recently, he worked as Clinical Faculty at the New York University Langone Health System.

To continue providing his patients with the best treatment, Dr. Parrotta is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and the American Medical Association (AMA). Additionally, he is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.

During his spare time, Dr. Parrotta enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife and their beloved Shih-Tzu. He enjoys keeping up with the latest technology, and has a love for classic rock music.
